Authorized by NAVSEA, the Stearns Abandon Ship Inflatable is a commercial replacement for the old MIL-SPEC pouch type life preserver.  The design is based on Stearns popular manual Inflata-Belt and comes with a small equipment pocket attached to the waist belt.  The Abandon Ship Inflatable includes a strobe light (water activated), whistle and buddy line; all of which stow in the attached stowage pouch.
